I am behind of updating all of you on Kitch's progress — but life has been very busy, and very good! I took some more photos last night and plan to add a few items tonight. I think I am going to try and make it a pattern to update Etsy with more items every Monday night. If I shoot for that, I might actually be able to accomplish it.
I also sold two items on Friday that I shipped out on Saturday — the Irvinware cocktail measuring glass and the "Happy Days" Democratic shot glass. This shop is looking a lit bare right now, but that will hopefully change tonight.
I came up with an idea over the weekend, though, while I was going through and cleaning/shining some of the items, trying to figure what I'll put up this week. I didn't know if it was a good idea to be eclectic with the items I upload, offering a good mix that has something for everyone, or go more with a theme, so it was more likely that customers would find more than one item they liked. Well, I was thinking about having theme weeks, such as Dollar Days, where items are all $1; Wet Bar, weird name I know, but maybe all shot glasses or something; Kitch'n Lot, where everything is lots - big groups of similar objects sold together; Kitch'n Apron, aprons...; Book Shelf, cookbooks and whatnot; etc.
