There are a few items that I truly love but that haven't sold, so I have put them on "clearance," or on sale. I really want them to go to a new home (except maybe my soup bowls since I really really really love them...)
Though these are Italian, they kind of have that Greek key feel. The symmetry in the handles; the square contrasting with the round bowl - just took classic, clean and fresh. The bowls have no markings other than "ITALY" on the bottom, but I have washed and heated them with no problems, plus they stack perfectly inside one another to save space in the cabinet. The only defect at all is a very small scratch on one of them. They are perfect for soup, cereal or any single-serving casserole.
• These were $7.95 and now I am putting them on sale for $6!
One of my long-time favorites, this tan half apron is both stylish and functional. The two pockets are very handy and even add a punch of color with the pink trim. The material is in fantastic condition.
• Sale! This was $4.99 and now it's $3.50!
This retro oil and vinegar shaker is perfect for mixing up your own batch of salad dressing at home. These were made by Gemco in the '60s and '70s. Made in the USA.
• Sale! This was $2.99 and it is now $2!
I know nothing about the history of this adorable bell, but while looking for comparables on the Net, I found several antique bells with owl handles, many of which came from India. If anyone knows the story behind this, please let me know. This one is 5" tall, is quite loud and has been personally shined by me. Perfect for any kitchen, teacher or owl collector.
